Hildegard of Bingen was one of the most influential women of all times and THE most influential one at her time. She was a writer, composer, philosopher, polymath and visionary. She is considered to be the founder of natural science in Germany. She corresponded with popes, emperors, abbots and abbesses, often in an advisory capacity. Her compositions are truly beautiful works of music; here some examples: -------------  BaldJean and I; I am the one in blue. |
