I really can't decide which is the best one.

Do you think they'd change their minds if they heard early Mayhem, Darkthrone, Averse Sefira, Marduk, Krieg, Dark Funeral, Enthroned or the thousands of other real black metal bands I'm sometimes in the mood for some black metal, but then it's not true black metal, it's beautifully melodic stuff like "At the Heart of Winter" by Immortal or the crazyiness of Mayhem's "Grand Declaration of War". I can listen to the true, raw stuff, but I don't really enjoy it (anymore Death metal flattens 99% of BM anyway ------------- "In war there is no time to teach or learn Zen. Carry a strong stick. No, they wouldn't, and that pisses me off even more. People wouldn't recognize a f**king black metal masterpiece like Anthems or De Mysteriis even if it kicked them in the arse.
Immortal and Mayhem are probably as "true" as it gets..

I kind of like black metal, I got some from an aquaintance. My favorite band so far is an American band called Windam Hell. Their album "Reflective Depths Imbibe" is really quite amazing, IMHO. I also like (I blush to admit) Cradle of Filth, which is, in fact, fake black metal, so that makes me a BM poser .
