Tanagra are a Cinematic Progressive metal band from Portland, Oregon.

Since the early stages of their formation in June 2010, Tanagra have been striving to forge their own distinctive brand of melodic, high-energy metal!
Here, you will find no growling vocals or gloom-and-doom lyrics. You will hear no one-dimensional drop-tuned guitar boredom. Tanagra aim for versatile song structures and diverse lyrical themes. Their inspirations range from symphonic power metal and thrash to progressive rock and classic video game music. Over time, the songs have become more complex and the Tanagra sound has continued to solidify.
