I thought I'd make a poll comparing these two.. truly great albums ok from Wishbone Ash and Caravan. Hopefully no one's head will explode trying to make this decision.

Haven’t heard the WA album but I truly like The Album a lot. Clear Blue Sky is a lovely Space Reggae track !!

There are several songs on The Album that I like. I truly enjoy both these albums(and certainly both bands). But both albums are considered 'low points' in their band's discographies.

The only track I don’t like on The Album is The Golden Mile. Why they did that, I will never understand.

I like Bright Shiny Day a lot and the first three songs on side 1. On Locked In I like the first song, and Started in Heaven a lot. Moonshine is not bad either. Both good but not great albums imo.

^ The title song on The Paradise Filter sounds very much like Bright Shiny Day. Very mellow.

I really like Paradise Filter. To me it's their best album in a long time, maybe since Back to Front.
