Hey, I was wondering who's gonna visit a progconcert soon?

I'm going to Progpower 2005  Headliner this year is Pain Of Salvation! Other bands coming are Green Carnation, Wolverine, Pagan's Mind, Orphaned Land and many more. After that I'm gonna see Dream Theater  in Amsterdam! They're gonna cover a classic album in their second set, I'm curious which one.

Now I'm still busy deciding going to Porcupine Tree and Opeth later this year. Both are coming to the Netherlands this december! This is gonna be a good year!

Nothing to see here, move along.

I was also interested in seeing Jethro Tull on their tour.  Do u have any idea what kind of music they will be playing?  Promoting new stuff? Old favorites?

I'm not 100% sure, either. You might be able to find out at the Jethro Tull website.

Ooh I'm envious. Will they be doing many dates in England this autumn/winter, Jean? I really need to see them live and I may be able to blow a bit of my student loan on tickets.

So many quality new prog acts there. I missed Opeth in Manchester a few weeks ago but the same thing won't happen with Vai in October.

Saw Sigur Ros last September...they were alright; nice light show, on par with CDs performance wise.

Oct 1st - Porcupine Tree w/ Robert Fripp (3rd time seeing PT, 2nd time seeing Fripp solo-wise)

Oct 7th - Tortoise (maybe)

Oct 8th - Dead Can Dance

Oct 11th - Meshuggah (maybe)

All I can think of at the moment.

I think I might drive up to Chicago in November and try to score some Jethro Tull tickets. I'm thinkin' it will be a good show, so it's worth the 6-7 hour drive.
