I hope this does not become a trend (as usual) because there is already a Roy Orbison show and a Ronnie James Dio show is in the works. Rather distasteful IMO

Considering the greed of Ahmet, Diva and their Zappa Family Trust this comes as no surprise

I'm not really opposed to the idea morally, but the idea of a "live" show based around pre-recorded tracks doesn't appeal to me. Perhaps the living musicians would make it worthwhile enough to see, although I'd rather hear those guys play with a live Dweezil than a dead Frank.

I saw Dweezil with Zappa Plays Zappa (before The Family Trust nixed that band) many times in many venues and he had progressed tremendously at playing his Dad's tunes including solos to perfection. The initial strategy with the Hologram was Dweezil to play note-for-note renditions (mostly solos) alongside his late father, as one.
