Hoping that any PA members are safe and ok in Hurricane Florence's path.

Living in the Raleigh area we have done ok so far, lots of rain and strong wind gusts, power bumps and outages.  Further south into New Bern and Wilmington, NC areas they have not fared so well.  Still another 1 or 2 days of rain still left.

This photo below of a man and his cat getting rescued in New Bern tugged at my heart as you can see the worry in his face.  The story behind this rescue is that the man could not get his father to evacuate and had to leave him behind.  Anyway, hope all PA members that may be in the area are safe.

FYI, Any east coasters who are looking to travel north or south on Interstate 95, it is closed in NC and SC due to flooding.

Still dumping tons of rain in most of the state and SC and the storm is moving at a blazing 2 mph.  In a day or two all these rivers will be cresting and expected to break record flood levels.

Also, a massive Typhoon has hit the Philippines and headed to Hong Kong I believe.

hey I know that bridge!!

Used to fish from that.. until some locals told me it wasn't a good idea to eat the catfish since they pull bodies from the river almost daily.   They don't call it Fayettenam for no reason...
