Someone was doing a TV poll so I thought this might be good ( Although I'm sure it's been done before. ) What are your top 10 TV shows of all time?

Game of Thrones The Twilight Zone Monty Python's Flying Circus South Park Twin Peaks The Simpsons Lost Trailer Park Boys Breaking Bad The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air I would have included Krzysztof Kieslowski's Dekalog and Lars Von Trier's Riget but they're miniseries and would open up the door for all kinds of other options like alternate cuts of feature-length films made into miniseries so I kept it simple.

Then I won't include Decalog, and Riget either, or, methinks, the BBC House of Cards trilogy. Actually, I wouldn't be averse to including certain types of miniseries. These are just the first to come to mind since 10 is far too few for me. I opted to stop at about 20, but there are so many that I adore, and I didn't even cover comedies (well, some dramadies). If I were to choose one comedy, I'd probably go with League of Gentleman, also adore Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister. The Tomorrow People (part of my childhood as with some others) Game of Thrones Okay, I'll stop there. |

Top 10 'personal favorites'.....but there are at least 10 others that are equal to me. btw..these are all original tv shows....no remakes or mini series from cable tv Twilight Zone Outer Limits The Prisoner The Avengers Star Trek MASH X Files Babylon 5 Fringe Lost ------------- One does nothing yet nothing is left undone. ^I really enjoyed Fringe...not sure how many people watched it. There are many old ones I liked but it would have run into more than 20 shows...some like The Name of the Game, Rockford Files, Bonanza, Have Gun Will Travel, Combat, Cheers, St Elsewhere, The Fugitive, Bob Newhart Show, Taxi.....etc...so many good ones.

^ Firefly was great....sadly it didn't last long . The movie Serenity was also very good....of course Fillion went on to fame in Castle the ABC tv show...he has a new show this fall called The Rookie. ------------- One does nothing yet nothing is left undone. Haquin |
