| Well even though i haven't heard all of their music ( i want to though!). What do you guys think their best song is? Shallow was the song that got me hooked. Even though Blackest Eyes is awesome! Toss up between those 2. What about u guys? |

Prodigal (from In Absentia) has been one of my big favourites for some
time now, although Waiting was the one that really got me to sit up and
take notice of PT late last year.

Trains is the greatest one... with these clapping hands effect and great lyrics (never found the link between them and the rest of the album... which is supposed to be a concept one) anyway this intense song make me feel weird everytime I listen to it... I find it much easier to name a single best songs by the band which is far from being favorite. I have all studio albums by PT plus "Coma divine Live in Rome" (the best by them). However I do not consider them anything close to genius - just OK band, playing just OK music, quite listenable to - that's all. My favorite song by PT is "Radioactive Toy" - mesmerising stuff, and sounds live even better that in studio. ------------- carefulwiththataxe |

I like a lot their last album, it's why i'm gonna say : "Arrival somewhere but not here" But, my fave album is "Stupid Dream", so "Dont hate me" is one of my best. Good question and very difficult to answer. I like there long suites like Sky Moves Sideways and Voyage 34, but you have to be in the mood for them. The more recent stuff - Halo, Deadwing, Arriving Somewhere But Not Here, Open Car, Trains, Hatesong, A Smart Kid, .3 and Waiting [Both Phases] are my favourites.
