Let's do top 5: Kubrick Bergman Fellini Welles Chaplin Not far behind are Luis Bunuel, Andrei Tarkovsky, Akira Kurosawa, Terrence Malick and David Lean. Did you see "Noon Wine"? They just uploaded it on YouTube.. I can see why it's Sam's favorite. It's not long, but it's really well paced, with some fine writing and situations. |

Would you please extend your list whenever you get a chance? I love basically the same stuff and can't stop smiling in anticipation for some movies.. By the way, thanks for the Grace Slick "Dreams" mention - I liked the entire album. Speaking of Herzog, I love "Stroszek" so much. Easily my favorite of his. |
