625 years ago, the Russian forces of  Dmitri Donskoi defeated the larger Mongol forces of lead by Mamai at the Battle of Kulikovo.  This battle was the beginning of the end of Mongol rule in Russia.  For this, Dmitri Donskoi is my 'ero of the day.

The younger people on this forum just seem a little more mature than my daughter and her friends.

Must be that prog influence

My hero of the day....

The late Simon Wiesenthall

Saved from the gas chambers in 1943 by an SS guard
who noticed his talent as an artist; after the war
became a tireless campaigner against anti-semitism
and genocide, assisting in bringing over 1,000 war
criminals to justice, including Adolf Eichmann.

No, he wasn't a saint, and sometimes his methodology
was extremely dubious, but rest in peace Simon, you
deserve it.

Tongue

If Mike Patton found a magic lamp and a genie came out of it and granted him three wishes, those wishes would be:

1. Grant me the ability to write music.
2. Grant me the ability to know when I've written terrible music
3. When those wishes don't come true, kill me.

Wink

OH MY GOD THIS IS BACK!!!!

I was looking in the search section for so long and never found this good job Blowie.

I'm going to nominate two people for heroes of the day.

The first is Blowie for ressurecting this thread.

The second is Flossy for his outsanding reviews of Paradox Hotel and Scream Bloody Gore that I read today.
