He didn't

Anyway sounds like this is something that should please fans of The Flower Kings and related projects such as Karmakanic, Kaipa and so forth. Not really my bag but I imagine folks over in our designated FK thread are bursting with excitement.

I do not know what to make of "art rock group" for progressive royalty.  Does this mean they will flirt with alternative rock?  When I think of art rock, David Bowie is the face of that genre for me.

So Roine and Daniel have joined forces again. Interesting...

Can't deny I'm looking forward to this. Hope Roine sings as little as possible : D

Doesn't a "supergroup" usually indicate musicians who can actually sell albums? Wink

?

I've always understood it to be a band made up of musicians who are already well known from other bands. And in the "world of progressive rock" these guys are definitely well know. And they just happen to be some of the best musicians out there Smile

If Daniel is in the band, I would expect him to sing more than Roine...

Although history is littered with failed projects of this kind and its not always a guarantee of success to put together such bands.

This does look an impressive line up though. I'll buy the album whenever it comes out. Roine has done some impressive stuff in recent years and seems to be endlessly busy.

They forgot to add one important musician: Steve Hackett. Hasn't he been showing up on a lot of these things lately? Maybe they figure they don't need him to sell more records.
