Superman got: Gene Hackmann as a villian, got Christopher Reeve as a hero, got John Williams as composer and directed by Richard Donner. Superman got Margott Kidder as Lois Lane and Marlon Brando as Jor-El

Batman got: Jack Nicholsen as a villain, got Michael Keaton as a hero, Danny Elfman as composer and Tim Burton as director.
Batman got Kim Basinger as Vicki Vale and Michael Goughe as Alfred

both were huge milestones in movie development, each were both brave and daring projects, Tim Burton was stil trying hes tricks.

I might as well give my vote to Superman; I loved it as kid, I watched it every chance I got.

Superman, Gene Hackman should have been nominated for an Academy Award.

Superman had a sense of humour in its story line, while Batman was too serious IMHO.

interestingly both Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson are very good comedians as well, the joker is sinister and funny but mostly sinister

If I'm going to do a poll inspired by a poll, I should at least respond to the original. Voted Superman. I saw both of these in the cinema, the earlier one when I was quite wee.

To add a little spice since I can't think of anything interesting to say:
