Based on poll series of combatting albums im now combatting bands in a dual of favourisme. Not in physical might. But in the might of creativety.

Whom marks the most cever strikes of brilliance, whol will dominate the world and whom will be victory of next generatiom Amon or Van der Graaf

Amon Düül II for me. I like VdGG. Hammill's vocals don't bother me as they do some others, and I far more dislike the operatic stuff from ADII. However, who cares about vocals anyway. VdGG's instrumental side is too sparse. I like the droning, but it drones on far to long. More seems to be happening with ADII, and with a heavy dose of improvisation.

See other poll. I vote for VdGG here just to keep my support balanced.

*spits beer on monitor*

yeah right...  yes I prefer having a German women's tongue in my ear.. especially one whispering how she is going to teach me a new religion..in heavily accented English ... rarther than having some pseudo intellecual upper class drivel driving icepicks into my ears.

ADII by millions of light years...   remember it is prog/progressive ROCK!!!!!  and ADII rocks harder than VDGG could ever dream of doing.. and were far more creativite.. original (Doors knock off that VDGG was) and did I say..   they rock and kick all kinds of ass.

VDGG is more significant for me. But I like the early ADII too. Both of them are the magical bands.
