I'm new to the forum and certainly have not had the time (or energy) to delve through all of the archived pages.... so forgive me if this is a repeat.

Any Brainticket fans out there?  I feel like Cottonwoodhill is one of those essential prog disc to own.  I'm a big fan of all their stuff, and have a soft spot for Adventure and Voyage...

Not exactly a fan, but I like the first three Brainticket albums a lot and have had Adventure on my have-to-listen-to list for a while now. Cottonwoodhill I could even say I love. I need to come back to their music, haven't listened to anything from them for a while now. Great band! Thumbs Up

Cottonwood Hill is a fascinating listen though challenging and somewhat difficult (especially after the first 2, superb tracks). Unique. I prefer Psychonaut. Flawless, that album.

Big fan of Cottonwood Hill as well but I understand why it tends to divide people in two camps. One absolutely adores the freaky undiluted unfiltered and entirely repetitive nature of the music whilst the other flee to the mountains in disbelief. Alright that is perhaps a tad too far (Igor Wakhevitch terrritory it is not) but you get the gist.

My alltime favourite Brainticket tune is without a doubt Egyptian Kings off Celestial Ocean. It should be one of the first things newbies to Krautrock listen to imo. Great greeting card.
