Caught an excellent 2 and half hour set last night in a small folk venue in Fife (Glenfarg), Scotland.  Fine performance by Cousins, Lambert and Cronk.     The Strawbs must have been one of the leading exponents of prog mellotron rock from '71 onwards - their folk undertones, religious cum bittersweet lyrics and melodic drive were unique until they lost their way with their later albums.     Catch them soon on their current tour

They've done this show in Canada three times in the
last two years, and I still haven't gotten off my lazy
arse to go see it...I will next time for sure.
