Early Pink Floyd. I'm not sure about the latter two, but why not try Ozric Tentacles and Gong while we're at it?

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Try Grobschnitt's Solar Music Live. It's the German
Space Ritual! No kidding!

Also the 2nd UFO album, titled "One Hour Space
Rock". You can't get any more space rock than that!
It's pre-Schenker.

Amon Duul's Yeti is pretty trippy and reminds me of
"In Search of Space" in many ways.

I think you might try Ash Ra Tempel, if you like to alternate between
trippy and more meditative stuff.

these are some pretty messed up names.

porcupine tree is a messed up name too, and theyre kinda pych ..right? or kinda chill prog rock now..but their early stuff is very psychedellic rock

and its pretty cool. LIke the sky moves sideways, up the downstairs. Its all good sh*t

they're good

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

the first 6 records of Amon Düül 2 ("Phallus Dei", "Yeti", "Tanz der Lemminge", "Carnival in Babylon", "Wolf City" and "Live in London"). on later albums they get less trippy.
also the records of the British Amon Düül ("Hawk Meets Penguin", "Meetings With Men-Machines - Unremarkable Heroes of the Past",  "Die Lösung" and "Fool Moon")
Cosmic Jokers - "Cosmic Jokers" and "Galactic Supermarket"
Here and Now - "Give and Take", "Live Floating Anarchy" (recorded with Daevid Allen and Gilly Smyth under the band name Planet Gong)
Gong - "Camembert Electrique", "Flying Teapot", "Angel's Egg", "You" and the live albums

-ash ra tempel: (all the albums)
-the cosmic jokers: (all the albums)
-ozric tentacles: curious corn

and of course a trippy, acid voyage to the center of the microcosmos, the super spectacular japanese band, sons of a psychedelic-druggy God:
