I like the Tangerines.... I love both of these albums, but Rubycon. TD used to be all about the pre-Phaedra albums for me, but I've grown to love a lot more Tangerine Dream. |

I don't like Rubycon much, but I'm not a Tangerine Dreamfan. The Snow Goose is, in my opinion, the greatest album ever recorded - bar none. It epitomises, beauty, melody and emotion. ------------- A TVR is not a car. It's a way of life. |

Rubycon here. I find the original release of The Snow Goose to be quite stale, though I do like the re-recorded version from a few years ago quite a bit. ------------- when i was a kid a doller was worth ten dollers - now a doller couldnt even buy you fifty cents |

And how about the version included on "A Live Record"? I don't actually have the original studio album, but have that live album with the whole Snowgoose and with orchestra. I find it very enjoyable, actually, and don't think I need to get the studio one (nor the new re-recording, for that matter). |

Rubycon is a landmark album (then again, most of TD's '70s albums are!). The Snow Goose is a bit overrated, IMHO. I like Rain Dances, Breathless, Stationary Traveller, Moonmadness and even the first album more than TSG.
