I wonder - first why is it so that plenty of prog musicians and bands seems to feature Pied Piper in plenty of lyrics and album titles. Is it sometimes only refearing to a random piper in 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn' or is it a referance to Pied Piper. I know also PP to be sung in songs by King Crimson and Genesis,in the songs In the Court of the Crimson King and Suppers Ready.
Is there other prog bands that sings about Pied Piper or feature him in any way.
Is there prog bands whom also sings about Jack Frost?

Floyd's Piper at the Gates of Dawn refers to a story of that name in Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in The Willows. The piper in the story is the god Pan. Nothing to do with the Pied Piper of Hamelin.

Im spessialy interested in those wierd characters, trickster type folklore individuals. Those mystical folks that are in tales and songs.
Seems to be well suited for songs
