You can now listen to my entire album for free (link coming up)!

Let me preface by saying that yes I wrote a controversial headline to get more eyes on this. However, I do believe it is true.

I love Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie and other highly melodic shredders more than most. But even though 75% of Surfing With the Alien and maybe 70% of Passion & Warfare is just plain great songs, there is still what feels like filler to me. You know, stuff that’s on the CD just to show how versatile the artist is (Satriani singing / playing banjo / using very strange modes and weird Vai harmonizer stuff). I believe my CD has none of that. My goal was to make the most listenable guitar album ever, that can appeal to non-musicians and musicians alike. I thought it possible by having enough technical guitar wizardry to make it interesting for those who are into that sort of thing, but first and foremost to concentrate on songwriting and strong melodies.

I challenge any guitar fan to take a listen to my album and decide for themselves. It has been out for almost 5 years now, and I still have a closet with 700 physical CD’s (haha), but I’ve decided I want far more people to hear the music and don’t really care about the money any more.

Take a listen here with this playlist, and voice any criticism or praise you want, I can take it. This album did take me 4 years to write and record, and the sound quality / mixing is very good.

Rock On!
