Orchestre Celesti celebrate their 10 Anniversary with their 7th album, "THE BIG CARROT"

Orchestre Celesti were born in 2007, from a project by Federico Fantacone, keyboardist and composer.
The project is characterized by three "i": writing Independent, Instrumental, and Italian prog music
OC gradually converted to electro-prog, ie a prog rock with large electronic and ambient contamination , which is very evident in the fifth and sixth album, The Court Of Miracles Vol.1 & 2.
These albums introduced OC to prog world around press and prog radios , who have reviewed and broadcast them in the USA, Netherlands, UK, France, Norway, South America (Progzilla, FNP, DPRP, Progwereld, Sea Of Tranquillity, ProgArchives, among others)
To celebrate their 10th anniversary and this little place conquered over the years, OC publish in January 2017 their 7th work, an EP about 30'-long, titled "The Big Carrot (and misuse of it...)".
For the first time all the tracks are completely new, composed and recorded one after the other in the course of 2016 especially for this album, without tapping into earlier ideas and drafts.
Also the electronic components disappeared, and drums samples were not used, each single drums beats were composed to fit the song. Very few overdubs, few Moog, a lot of electric piano (main instrument with which the songs were composed) and psychedelic organ.
The result is very "acoustic", spontaneous, internally consistent.
Last but not least, the main source of inspiration is the Canterbury Sound, which gives the whole album a jazz touch and creative freedom scarcely present in previous albums.
Saxes and trumpets from the amazing CONVERSE RUBBER SAMPLE LIBRARY: Revive Jazz Supergroup (Gary Bartz, Wallace Roney) and Greg Osby Sax sessions.
Only on Bandcamp
