That Harmonium one is a masterpiece of music, regardless of whether or not you like prog. Joyous, nostalgic, passionate, timeless. Thumbs Up

The neo choice for me (and no I am not coming down with anything - I genuinely adore Fugazi and think it's Marillion''s finest hour).

I'll give it to Harmonium this time, but Le Orme is not so far behind.

The finest hour with Fish, I agree. Personally, I think Seasons End is their masterpiece, but Fugazi wins this poll in a canter for me

You darn Canadians, always sticking together... But yeah I have to go with Harmonium, although I don't enjoy it anywhere near as much. It's pretty good, at least a 7 out of 10.

I'm not into Harmonium if it makes you sleep better. In fact, I always get them confused with another Canadian band:

Le Orme by a landslide...and I'm Canadian.  I prefer the first and third albums by Harmonium to the one under consideration, but neither of those would best the top 8 or or so Le Orme albums.  Marillion, never really got into them

thus the point of my post.... would one pick a Canadian spread over a Italian one..  errgggg....

a canadian car over an Italian one.. pffff...

Anne Murray over Sophia Lauren... HAH!!

so picking a Canadian album over an Italian one... no friends... sorry to break it to you...it makes as little sense as picking any of the above... some things are written in stone.

No one does food, cars, beauty art and music like the Italians do man...LOL

Don't own the Harmonium and Le Orme ones, but I've heard them both enough to feel comfortable voting here. Was going to go with the French Canadiens, but you make a damn good argument, micky, so Italian it is. LOL

That said, had this poll featured a different Marillion album (Misplaced Childhood), that argument wouldn't have mattered any way you slice it.

Nine times out of ten I'd agree with you, but what Quebec may lack in elegance and extravagance, we make up for in humble simplicity!

Sugar Bush food, man. It gets you through hellish winters.

Hey, don't you insult the mighty Quebec-mobile! LOL

  • '94 Pontiac Grand-Am or equivalent
  • Spray painted chalkboard black
  • Considerable rust around the wheel wells (if not everywhere else)
  • Always has a "Tapout", "Affliction", and/or "Monster Energy Drink" decal pasted on the rear window
  • Can often be seen on Ottawa's roadways going about twice the posted speed limit
  • Stereo is often blaring hair metal or Pitbull at red lights (which it does not stop for)
  • Driven by these people:

LOL

But it's not enough to make a difference musicallyTongue
