Hello everybody.

The Hang (and similar handpans) is very popular these days. There are so many different kinds of handpans, of wich Hang is the most famous. Although you can't call a Hang a handpan.
But that's a different story.

Another (new) melodic percussion instrument is the steel tongue drum (based upon the slit drum). Sometimes also called tank drum or hank drum.
I'm a happy steel tongue drum player.
I wonder what you think of it and if there are any other handpan or steel tongue drum players.

I've bought a new steel tongue drum, called a RAV. It's more a mixture between a steel tongue and a handpan.
So far I only recorded a quick instagram movie, but will record a YouTube film soon:

I've got a new video up.
This time it's the RAV Vast from Russia. It's somewhere between a handpan and a steel tongue drum.
