This one's a real toughie. Definitely up there with 'szczęście' and the chemical name for Titin.

Feel free to say that I'm not being any fun, but this topic is better suited to the Just for Fun forum, so moving it. I am tempted to say enough of these and just plain lock it to be honest.

Neo = Leo only remove the "L" and replace with "knee"  . (Do you want to know how to pronounce "knee"?)

Prog  is and always was pronounced "pwog".

I've actually heard at least one person pronounce prog rock as "progue" rock. It was kind of weird. Then again I've also heard people say "metal prog."
