So Im looking into buying a 12 string, and I have narrowed it down to these two models. The Takamine is acoustic/electric, and has onboard EQ, active electronics, and an onboard tuner, it's also got binding, flame maple back and sides, and a solid spruce top I believe, making the only real setback the fact that it was made in Korea. On the other hand, the Martin was made in America, but it's got a cheaper look with no binding, no inlays, just a real simple look with a solid sitka spruce top, and some kind of composite woods making up the other parts of it, and it also lacks any electronics.

I know it comes down to which plays best, but on paper, which would you guys recommend? Anyone own any of these two?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, since Im going to decide on one of them in about an hour. Thanks.
