Looks like he doesn't sell downloads via bandcamp which is odd as they are up on itunes.

Based on the video on the wayside page this seems a bit different than their previous stuff.

I'll bite.

Well, here's a big "f**k you" from David J. Smith and House of Mythology to anyone who buys the CD version:

http://store.houseofmythology.com/cart/product.php?id=29335" rel="nofollow - https://store.houseofmythology.com/cart/product.php?id=29335

* Track 4, "Birth of Decay" is a live recording only available on the double vinyl edition, or as a download for people ordering the DLP directly from the House of Mythology website. This track does not appear on the CD version.

So, to be clear, if you buy the CD the track won't be on it, and you won't be able to download it. I am now officieally tired of this kind of bullsh*t. If you despise people who buy CDs, just go the whole hog and don't release on the format already.

Was getting ready to buy this but there are plenty of other things on my list and this just went to the bottom.

Yeah, I am sure it comes down to the money, given the CD is £10 and the double LP is £25. But it is still lame to penalise those who want to buy the album but who can't afford the vinyl or don't like the format by selling them an inferior version. The least they could do is offer the extra track as a download at additional cost.
