Flyingdale, sweetdream, orion, to cry you a song, black satin dancer

-------------
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Definetly Sweet Dream first (its only me that thinks its almost a proto-metal track?), then To Cry You A Song (yaaay, Benefit), then Black Satin Dancer (great song, love MITG), then Fylingdale Flyer (dont know why, but I like this song very much, lyrics, melody, everything)... and then Orion... which is a cool track, but... dunno.

Yeah, I guess I would consider it a proto-metal song too... but mostly the one I'm used to liestening to is the live version from Bursting Out, which is even heavier as I remember it. My order for the songs I do know is:
- Sweet Dream (specially the Bursting Out version).
- To Cry you a Song (specially the Live at Carnegie Hall version).
- Black Satin Dancer.

Sweet Dream (don't like the album that much but this is great)
Orion (Stormwatch is my favourite and by far most played album out of these)
Black Stain Dancer (most sophisticated but too fragmented for me)
Fylingdale Flyer (OK, nothing great)
To Cry You a Song (doesn't click for me)

It has an equally dreadful video to go along with it. But it goes well with the Casio electronics. LOL

This except swap Orion and Sweet Dream because I really like the bass drum sound in Stormwatch.
