It's generally accepted that the greatest humor novelists of our age are Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett - both English and both deceased.  But who's the best of the still-living American humor novelists?  Here are two contenders who I enjoy greatly.

No vote...never read anything by either man......not much on 'humor authors'...but perhaps it's time to ck them out. I'm not getting any younger.
