Right now it's between Hot Rats and Aqualung.
I'll come back in a bit and vote before I call it a night.

As far as favorites, Animals with Fragile a close second.

Why do men have nipples? Probably because of ELP. After all, Love Beach just wouldn't have been the same otherwise.

Decided to go with Aqualung.

Darn, still can't vote (How many posts do I need? 40?)

I've actually heard a few of these!  I think I'd go with Animals over Fragile, despite being a bigger Yes fan than a Pink Floyd fan.  Fragile has great songs, but it also has some filler, whereas Animals is amazing from beginning to end.

Animals, Aqualung, Fragile? I can't vote..

First vote for Fragile!  Great selection, not easy to pick just one.

Brain Salad Surgery, arguably ELP's best album. Closely followed by Red, one of KC's best albums, with their best song "Starless". Also closely followed by the underrated Trick of the Tail with great songs as "Dance on a Volcano" and "Mad Man Moon".

Though I have actually heard Wilson's Raven, I don't think it really belongs here ...

King Crimson is the best album here, but i gave my vote to PG, a very fine album that needs votes.

Brain Salad, Animals, Fragile, Red, Days of Future Passed, Aqualung, ATOTT. Damn, this is hard, all masterpieces. And the others are great too.

I think Fragile is my favorite.

Didn't even notice it until now. And not many others did. Just goes to show how irrelevant it is. I could put some racist, sexist, religious remark and people would still just answer Genesis.

hmm I'm surprised you don't like the Moodys.  DOFP is not my favorite by them but its still a landmark release.  These days, of the list, Aqualung is easily my favorite.  There was a time Genesis would have been #1 for sure.  I like the album but rarely listen to it.  The rest, meh

Not too much Fragile voters too! At least less than I expected. I thought it's a real masterpiece, one of my favourites all time.

Though good to see Animals leading.

I used to like the Moodies and would never deny their importance in the early days of prog. I just found more exciting bands.

Fragile...Red....Aqualung....Days of Future.....are all a few of my favorites and the others have their charms also....but I'll never understand all the love for Animals. One of my least favorite things by Floyd....it's tedious and gloomy.
Starless is one of the great epics of all time....so Red it is.

A Trick of the Tail edges out Red, Fragile and Animals today. Honourable mention for The Raven That Refused to Sing (and Other Stories) - which is the best solo Steven Wilson album by far and is a modern prog classic IMHO.
