Don't think it belongs here but it has a cool sound to it all thanks to the unique vocalists.

Not too sure why you would say that. There are lots of bands on this site that don't sound as good as these guys. Bands that are just about as, or less progressive as this is. I'd rather hear this band than 90% of the "Progressive Metal" bands I've heard. It's not my preferred style but definitely listen-able.

Thank you for supporting independently produced music

I think he might be talking about this section of the forum.

Very professional production, decent band, relatively tight and a decent mix of different styles.  Not my cuppa tea but that's irrelevant.  What are these guys, Haitian?  African?

the rapping is laughably bad, the songwriting is bad.  The chorus is extremely catchy, but that doesnt mean you can just repeat it 6 times and say the song is good.
and the production is not good, dont lie to them.  everything sounds hollow and bad, especially the programmed drums.  The only thing that sounds good and/or unique is the guitar player's voice.  just let that guy sing the whole time, or get a new 'singer'

the song is also not progressive in any way.  its literally a pop song

The production seems good to me also. It's an interesting mix of styles. I think it would be a stretch to call this progressive rock (though I will admit I could be wrong about this), but there are clearly some influences from prog and prog metal evident in places, as well as pop rock, Reggae, Caribbean and African music. The songs with rapping are from a guest vocalist (H.Weapons). On other songs, the guitarist holds down lead vocal duties.

I found some more samples from this band here:

The Spirit of Metal website lists them as "fusion" and their country of origin is Togo.

Well, this kind of mash up of styles remind me a lot of some bands going on on Brazil... It remember even a little bit of http://https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6yCx_42Icc&index=8&list=PLLsJE2442zc8UJwGRBzIJh8h4nFWxgU9K" rel="nofollow - Chico Science (more in attitude than music, perhaps).
