agreed on the Beardfish album.. probably is that particular Mastodon album isn't much better. Something tells me I should like Beardfish and it made it onto my "maybe this should make it onto the to buy list" but then I find something else that is simply more interesting. Mastodon for me. Though I am not a big Beardfish fan (unlike a lot of the people I know here in the US), Sleeping in Traffic Pt 2 is a very good album - while I don't think Crack the Skye is on the same level as Leviathan or Blood Mountain. Therefore, my vote goes to the Swedes. |
