So excited that this band was introduced to Progarchives.

Its good to say to everybody who will listen that the music has absolutely nothing to do with rock - its popular music being played in an almost scholar way.

Besides, it is the kind of music I am always curious to see how non-brazilian ears will react.

So... what you think?

Clem of Nazareth is becoming a specialist in Brazilian prog-folk. Smile Years ago he added Almôndegas from the very South of Brazil and now Quinteto Armorial from the Northeast, some 3,800 km (~ 2,400 miles) separating one band from another.

As for Quinteto Armorial, I think that time is needed to acquire the taste... maybe some adventurous people, who knows? But they are great IMO and once you steep the addiction remains.

Good to knwow! I'll see if I came up with something to add in this genre.

Quinteto Armorial is a quintessential band of what become something of a quintessential artistic movement to northeastern Brazil.

I remeber the first time I heard the group, this come up in my head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5kH015YVWY

It was like completing a puzzle.

Yes! Good comparison!

I hear for the first time Canzoniere Del Lazio through their side project Carnascialia. This one is my favorite from that album - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-XVk1El0h8.
