| On the 3 out of 4 GG albums I have there is a little man somewhere in the album cover like a where's waldo thing. The little man is on the three friends, gentle giant, and octopus. Now im still new to this band but is there some thing im missing with this or is there a purpose to it? |

I dont know maybe because their name is Gentle Giant they put Mean Midgets on the cover of their albums |

spong: Actually, there would only have been two little men if you had the original cover of Three Friends, which doesn't include him. The only reason he appears on the Three Friends cover is because they used the same cover as Gentle Giant. In this regard, the two little men are not the same. On the GG and TF covers, he is facing away, toward the giant, and looks a little like an alien - or pehaps an elf or other "fairy" creature, since we are talking "giants" here. On the Octopus cover, the man is in a diving suit because he is in the jar containing the octopus. I don't think there is any connection. Peace. |
