I purposely didn't include the Floyd track. There might be others but I just thought of those ones.

No contest, Bowie all they way. And BTW, if you're going to include Culture Club here, which is actually called Time (Clock of the Heart) then you should have included other songs with words other than just Time in them. ELP's Time and a Place comes to mind.

I only know the Bowie one. I still remember the time at Middle School when we managed to get that played during assembly - didn't go down too well with the teachers.

Shame the Tom Waits song is not an option. By far the best compared to the others on the list.

Which part, "Quaaludes and red wine", falls w**king to the floor", or "incestuous and vain"? LOL

K I changed Culture Club to Tom Waits since it had no votes anyway. The title is "Time (blah blah)" but it was close enough. The Chambers Brothers song has no () as far as I know.

Can't believe the Parsons track isn't getting more votes. That's a great song. Here's Mr. Bungle doing a version of it:

Here's the original for anyone who has never heard it:

Oh Time by Bowie is frickin' brilliant, that piano tune and the cabaret vibe with the drums and that drone guitar and harmonies and most important of all vocals, I vote Bowie! Hands down... 100% (not 110% coz that's just silly Big smile) this tracks stops and carries on in the middle and is just too aaahhh brilliant! ClapApproveThumbs UpHug
