Which do you prefer: The progish pop Post Punk of The Strangers or the more keyboard driven arty Post Punk of Magazine?

Sorry, didn't really read the question and thought it was a Magazine named The Stranglers. The first option. Peaches has my favourite bassline of all time.

Both are great bands, though Magazine had some exceptional players in Adamson, Formula and McGeoch. Saw them live too , it was spooky!

Hmm...I like both bands about the same but I did see the Stranglers once in Chicago so
Stranglers it is.

They'd be neck and neck.

As this is posted in the 'topics not related to music' forum, on what basis are we making the comparison?  Is it just preference of the band name?  In which case I would go for The Stranglers.

Both are sh*t punk / post punk bands , though I voted The Stranglers because I recall that I'v been slightly less irritated when they played The Stranglers at local fm radio at the time of punk hysteria.
