Much as I love Henry Cow, for me the Captain wins this poll. The Fall once did an interesting cover/deconstruction of War.

War - no question.  It blew me away when I first heard it 40 years ago and it still does.  See the wonderful 'Epiphany' in The Wire magazine, August 2011 which describes it better than I can.  Purists might say it is a 'Slapp Happy/Henry Cow' song - whatever the combination, I don't think they ever played it live!

To me the Henry Cow song the more interesting of these two.

Beefheart. The Cow thing sounds like some bad off-Broadway cancelled show.
