Enid seems to be in big financial troubles caused by legal action against them, and in need of help. Now is the time to fix any gaps in your collection and help them thus out.

Horrible indeed. I am going to their gig in Southampton next Saturday and would be happy to throw some money in their direction if it helps. They are still making excellent albums so it would be a crying shame if they come to an end because of this legal dispute.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Invicta is one of my favorite albums in a while. I'll probably pre-order The Bridge in support of the band, but it's tough when I'm in financial troubles as well Ouch

Clap

good to see people putting their monies where their mouths lie.  Hope they make their goal. Not really a fan of the group, the one show we saw of them did no favors (a technical disaster haha) but it is a shame to see things like that happen.

I would delete the laughing if I were you Micky.  If Dean sees it, there will be hell to pay - being mean about The Enid and all.  Smile

If you are talking about the Nearfest set they were fantastic once they got past the technical difficulty. I saw them a few times in the 80's, they had the Reading Rock Festival crowd in the palm of their hand. Lovely stuff.

I'm sure they were...  however the problems really marred the experience of seeing them for me and I really couldn't get into it. It happens I know.. but still... it was a bit of a letdown as it was a classic band I had never really gotten into via the albums themselves, and had looked forward to seeing them live where bands can make or break it when it comes to converting the unconverted.  That said... they sure did handle the technical problems like pros didn't they. Clap

Yep I know someone who was there and he still mentions it on occasion. Robert John Godfrey strutting his stuff to Purple Haze. PricelessLOL
