I'm curious and I haven't seen this topic so forgive me if it's been done.
I like Sinfield, and no doubt I expect his name to be dropped in this thread more frequently than Fripp can hit notes, but I also want to shine some light on some lyricists that deserve to be shined on.
Thoughts?
I also like Graeme Edge's poetry in The Moody Blues, Jon Anderson's use of nonsense and no-nonsense (Relayer), Ian Anderson is also highly rated in my book, Peter Hammill just punches my soul

Kevin Moore has always been a personal favorite. His lyrics when he was a member of Dream Theater and then when he was writing as Chroma Key are absolutely amazing.

Jon Anderson, Roger Waters, Neil Peart, Pete Townshend, Jim Morrison, and Peter Sinfield/Richard Palmer-James (for the hell of it!) are some favorites of mine.

The most underrated Bryan Ferry, the inimitable Fish, Dave Cousins, Frank Zappa and Sinfield.

I always thought Fish was very underrated, but glad to see other people like him. All 3 Peter's are excellent.
