The new Pink Floyd Tribiute called "Back Against The Wall" will be relased on September 27.
Who will play? Some names:
Adrian Belew
Tony Levin
Ian Andreson
Steve Morse
Rick Wakeman
Steve Howe
John Wetton
Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Iommi/Hughes, Glenn Hughes...)
Robby Krieger (The Doors)
Chris Squire
Keith Emerson
Dweezil Zappa
Steve Lukather
Steve Porcaro (TOTO)

Know those guys? They will preform entire "The Wall" album. Don`t know about you but I can`t wait.

Yes they will both appear on this album but maybe not in the studio.

I heard there is an ELP tribute group called Trilogy. Anyone know what they are like?

While that is an impressive line-up, the question is will the album work as a whole?  Some years back Magna Carta released a Pink Floyd tribute album featuring their bands recreating Dark Side of the Moon, with each song being handled by a different band.  There were some good performances, but the album as a whole lacked the cohesiveness of the original.  It sounded like a collection of songs from different sources rather than one that flowed together.  Still, it'll be interesting to hear.  Does anyone know if they'll be doing Empty Spaces or the extended version that appeared in the movie (I think it was called What Shall We Do)?

Wow.  I've always said that Pink Floyd are the most uncoverable band in the prog rock genre.  But that lineup is so impressive, I don't even care what they're playing!

I just hope there's a group coordinating it all. Yes, it could potentially (easily) beat out the original in terms of music. But only if it flows. I just hope they don't get tracks assigned to each person and "do whatever with it". There should be a small group of people coordinating the whole thing, otherwise it'll be a wreck at worst and a mixed bag at best.
