Of course Dolby, though I preferred dbx to dolby... He used to be a human, but now he's Gary Numan. ------------- Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Cars. I 'respect' Gary Numan. There are songs of his I like, but I'm no huge fan. I just like the fact that literally nothing else sounds like him. Numan is an Aspergers sufferer, and Cars is about how he used to feel safe in his car after being frequently chased down the streets by thugs who wanted to kick the sh*t out of him for looking different. ------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy! |

Never liked Blinded me with Science at the time which was 1982 and it sounds like the kind of awful 80s pop I don't like. On the other hand at the end of the 70s I was a big fan of electropop like Tubeway Army, OMD, Ultravox! etc. Cars is certainly better than Dolby as it is still listenable now (which is surprising) but I still prefer the Tubeway Army stuff. Blinded is worse now than it was at the time. You can guess who I voted for. ------------- Help me I'm falling! |

SteveG I am too scared to listen to She Blinded Me With Science by Thomas Dolby , as I am not fond of Cars by Gary Numan his music annoys me it's like te rera ra te re rara and a clap sound every now and then, all electronic sounds  Big hug to you tho'
