I don't know how old this news is, but it turns out Ron Jarzombek (of Watchtower/Spastic Ink fame)'s new project is with the the drummer of Lamb of God (!), and the bass player from Cannibal Corpse (!!!)

Much as those two bands bore me, I'm quite interested as to what Ron's playing will sound like in a much heavier situation. Although the announcement doesn't state it explicitly, from what I can gather we should see a release in around seven or eight months.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this? There must be some other Jarzombek fans here!

I prefer Bobby Jarzombek - an outstanding drummer.

Ron mentioned his plans with those guys earlier on the official WT/Spastic Ink forum. Can't wait for it!

PS.  Has the SA Slayer-Go For The Throat album been released officially on CD? Who knows it? I only have a bootleg. I'm also interested in the first Jarzombek solo album 'Phhhp!' but can't find anywhere.

You can order Phhhp! from the spasticink.com, although it was only ever released on CDR. I got a set of mp3s a while ago but I don't know where it is now and I'll get the proper one when I have some money. Go for the Throat, though, I don't think has ever seen a CD release.
