this is all Squire's fault for getting married so many times and having so much alimony and child support to payLOL At least they are refunding tickets---thought maybe Squire would have found a way to pocket some of the money.LOL

Haha you are right. That must have been quite a shock at the time.

Not at all. It was duly reported in printed media and the radio at the time. I was too young to see the Drama line-up on stage but I was well-informed about it.

It's not like the Tull fans found out about the A line-up at the first gig of the 80-81 tour, either!

Hilarious, but accurate for a lot of bands.

However, the sad fact is if they brought in a non Jon Anderson sound alike vocalist, and even made a great recording on par with their classic period, but with different sounding vocals,  you would have the typical whining and complaints from the same element that hypocritically complains about a band sounding the same all time, then bitches more if they do start sounding different

I remember reading that on the front page of Melody Maker at the time. Yes and Buggles, wtf?

"made a great recording on par with their classic period, but with different sounding vocals"

Um, not even close to any of their classic material, let alone on par.  Certainly not a "fact", as you state here.
