It is about SEX man! About the consequences of sex.

Oh, ok. I didn't see it, but your comment sounded a bit odd.

BTW, I'm not planning to see it soon... from what I've heard, I think it's a bit too scary for me

Never seen it eithe, so I'm curious. What's the plot?

Ever been to losman.com? He says it's the worst horror film ever. In fact he say if you want your buddies to stop asking you what's a good horror movie to see-tell them to get Eraserhead and they'll never bother you again!

Nobody has mentioned how funny it is in parts...the dinner scene always gets me

Strangely enough, I think it's easier to understand the storyline of Eraserhead than most of Lynch's films (well, except for Dune and Straight Story), although your personal impression of it can be pretty different than anyone else's...like all the surrealists, he mixes his own vision with an attempt to generate impressions from the subconscious of the viewer.

If you want to watch it as a horror movie then make sure and back it up with something like the b&w "Carnival of Souls" or the original Japanese version of "The Ring" instead of a slasher pic or monster movie.
