There's a hilarious episode where the P.P. is chasing a dime all over the city - it rolls into an elevator and goes to the top floor, Pink takes the umpteen flights of stairs and is knackered by the time he reaches the top, only for the coin to roll out of the elevator and straight into the elevator going down. Pink just kind of 'melts' and slinkys back down the flights of stairs - the sound effect is beyond insane - like pulling out a plug on the record player and it keeps going, just slowing down (or like pitch bending a Hammond note ). My maturity is showing .........

Hi,
C'mon ... musically, the Pink Panther was more progressive ... but fudge, no one remembers the music except one funny Goon, who played it all from all of the soundtrax ... and they were great!
The Toons are ok, but "progressive" is the word that Chuck used for their rocket designs ... that NASA stole from them according to this book, and NEVER paid them for it! Not a single nickel! But the music in it was very cool, and a complete throw back to some of the early TV and Radio stuff done in America and England with fun stuff.
I mean ... Warner Brothers cartoons and Spike Milligan, virtually invented all the sound effects that everyone ever used ... right?
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told! www.pedrosena.com
Pinky without question, Bugs was a bit of an assh*le
I'm mildly aghast....Pinky had precisely zero personality and even if Bugs was an assh*le, must have constituted a more sympathetic critter than the former? (Si I mean Oui) The jacques cloussau episodes dwarfed the surrounding PP storylines in my book.

Bugs Bunny was really for adults. Best ones were with TAZ. All those Merry Melodies cartoons started back in the forties as cinema shorts that played before main features before the days of previews. But that car was way cool but was never street legal.
