   Hi all,
This post is just to indroduce myself & the band Yak. Thank you to Proglucky for listing the band within these archives.
Yak were an instrumental 4 piece around between '82 & '84 & split up when the members moved to disperate parts of the UK. I had always felt the music we played was worth saving, so set about re-recording 8 tracks in 2004 which were released on CD in March of that year. I have been pleasantly surprised by the positive feedback it has received and the band has got back together as a result of this to work on new material.  Full details for anyone interested are at www.yaksongs.com. All sale proceeds go to charity.

	Thanks for replying chaps, yes there are indeed MP3 clips at the side, one for each of the tracks on the CD & also a couple of our recent jam in Nottingham ! If anyone does want a copy of the CD I would be happy to send you one on the basis that if you like it you can donate to the charity as detailed on the website (min £8 + a bit for postage if outside the UK - Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary) and if you don't like it you can pass it on to someone who might !
