Too bad, I haven't heard In The Hot Seat yet. I think Abacab is pretty progressive stuff. Asia's 1st isn't that progressive, it's still an excellent debut album.

And what's your own opinion, Snow?

Well as I'm not including the "bonus" track " Pictures at an Exhibition" from Hot Seat, I'd probably have to say Abacab too!

PaaE on In The Hot Seat? How unsportsmanlike. Those ELP guys would do ANYTHING to win the popular vote  .

Man, the album does get a low rating on the PA. I don't think I'll check that one out very soon. But then again, Abacab and Asia are clearly underrated on this site, so I don't know. Do you like In The Hot Seat, Snow?

Hmmm, I'll just stick with the old albums for a while, I guess.

Or buy the Beyond The Beginning dvd. That one got raving reviews.

Well, that's a really tough one... I haven't heard In the Hot Seat but I've read the reviews, and as much as I love ELP I have no desire to listen to it at all. Of the other two, I'd have to say Abacab, even though I hate anything Genesis did in the '80s. Asia I've never been able to stomach.

Actually Abacab is one of the few albums Genesis made post-DUKE that I do like quite a lot, another one is "Calling all stations" the rest are listened to very very sporadically, even though I am a Genesis fan...

Voted Abacab.

Cant stand Asia and have not heard ELP's 'In the hot seat'

Abacab is awful, but it does have 'Dodo' and 'Me & Sarah Jane' which are pretty good and quite prog.

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!
