I know all of us are curious about the meanings of some of our favorite songs.  I've found that you can't find much just searching song meanings on the internet, but I've heard some very good explanations of lyrics on this site.  So I'm starting this thread for anyone to pop in and ask people if they know the meaning of a certain song, and anyone who has a theory or has heard an interview or something where the band explained the meaning can answer. 
So I'll start the chain off: does anyone know the meaning of "Copernicus" by The Mars Volta, from Octahedron?
