Tickets are £17.50 for the whole event Cardiff based rock band The Reasoning features four times winner of the Classic Rock Society's Best Female Vocalist award Rachel Cohen along with Owain Roberts (guitar), Tony Turrell (keyboards/vocals), Matthew Cohen (bass) and Jake Bradford-Sharp (drums). The band's 2006 debut Awakening included a guest appearance from Marillion's Steve Rothery and garnered worldwide critical acclaim. Dark Angel released in 2008 continued to expand the band's international fan base. In 2009 The Reasoning's first single, a cover of the Duran Duran classic The Chauffeur, reached No.2 in the Amazon Download Chart. The Reasoning released their highly anticipated third studio album in April 2010. Adverse Camber, mixed by Joe Gibb (Leftfield, Massive Attack), demonstrates a new confidence and maturity. Whilst retaining their trademark sound; powerful vocal harmonies, strong melodies and dual guitars, Adverse Camber takes The Reasoning into new musical territory, appealing to a wider audience than ever before. The band have toured in Europe and performed alongside Marillion and Fish on several occasions. In July 2010 the organisers of the inaugural High Voltage festival in London invited The Reasoning to open the final day of the event. Playing prior to the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Opeth and ELP, the band's performance won them many new fans. Excellent live band with a lot of “presence”. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sanguine Hum is the third group to feature the line up of Matt Baber, Joff Winks and Brad Waissman and builds on the strong foundations left by its preceding musical ancestors. In effect, Sanguine Hum is a “no holds barred” approach to being a rock band. Complex ensemble work, profound song-writing, uniquely ambitious instrumental pieces and an equally important attention to the sonic landscape of the music as a whole give the band its defining characteristics. Sanguine Hum will excite both existing fans of Joff Winks Band and Antique Seeking Nuns and open the door for a brand new audience looking to engage with music of integrity, passion and musical intelligence. In our opinion complex, witty and original . ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A delicious fusion of styles, Panic Room play with musical genres
like an expert juggling team – and push their dynamic boundaries to the
extreme. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tin Spirits first got together in Swindon UK in the summer
of 2008, when Daniel Steinhardt from TheGigRig invited former XTC guitarist
(and musical hero) Dave Gregory to a local studio to video record an 'amp
shoot-out' with Dan's band The Hi-Fidels, comprising bassist Mark Kilminster
and drummer Doug Mussard. They soon
assembled a strong repertoire of guitar-orientated prog covers, together with a
few XTC songs, and began playing gigs in 2009 to very positive audiences.
