Hello, I've been getting my feet wet with Prog rock & Jazz Fusion for probably the past six months in my voyage into the world of audiophilia. I come from a background of classic rock (Zappa FREAK) so most of everything is quite enjoyable, some more than others of course. Im also a newbie getting his feet wet with vinyl.

My current favorite album is Close to the Edge, next down would probably be Fragile.

I look forward to getting to know some people on this forum and mountain of knowledge within the pages of this site/forum.

Well let me put it a little clearer, I think he is a fabulous composer when it comes to instrumentals, HOT RATS really got me in to his music. I guess being a musician helps.

I can completely see why you dont like him, he is a little out there. Especially in his later albums, I find that hes more or less just trying to have a good time making albums than he is actually putting effort into trying to make high quality music.
