Hope this is the right place for this...  I've been here for several months, and maybe I'm just doing something wrong, but one thing really bugs me.  "New Posts" seems to show only things since the "last time" I was reading the Forum.  So if I log on, read one message, and log off, then the next time I log on I miss all of the posts I didn't read that were "new" the previous time.

Also if I leave the forums in my browser and don't actually look at any pages for a while (hour? dunno) it seems to treat me as having logged off and back on after a while.

Is this just the way it is, or am I doing something wrong?

Frank

if by 'New Posts' you mean the yellow star icon at the top of the page; you could use the 'Topics with New Posts' chart at the bottom of the main Forum page, or check your own posts by going to your Member Profile (by clicking on your name) and checking 'Find Members Posts'

I get the same problem at other music sites (JA and MMA)

Just filter the time frame.
Yesterday, 1 Hour ago, etc.

Also make sure you use the long-term long in, instead of the Quick-Login function.
